Interested in the Hebrew Culture?
Have you ever wanted to do a deep dive into the Hebrew culture and study the Bible from a Hebrew perspective?
After all, Jesus was Jewish, right?
If so, this upcoming introductory class on the Hebrew roots of the Christian faith is for you. We will read through a book called “Torah: Law or Grace.” It will take about 12 weeks, and we will meet every Tuesday night from 7:00-9:00.
This class will explore the historical and cultural context of the Hebrew Scriptures and their impact on the New Testament. We will dive into the language and literature of the Hebrew Bible and examine how it provides a foundation for the Christian faith. We will also examine the Jewish roots of Christianity, including the Jewish feasts, customs, and traditions that Jesus and his followers observed.
This class is open to all interested in deepening their understanding of the Christian faith and its origins. No prior knowledge of Hebrew or the Bible is necessary.
